    This seasoned soy sauce is specially formulated for use in preparing steamed fish and various types of seafood. The sauce acts as a clear, dark-colored liquid seasoning that is poured directly over the finished dish without further preparation. The product is intended to mimic the classic Chinese method of preparing steamed fish, giving homemade dishes a depth and complexity that usually requires extensive culinary experience. The flavor is characterized by a subtle sweetness combined with a distinct umami character derived from soybeans and yeast extract.
