Fish tofu is a deep-frozen Asian specialty based on fish surimi, which is processed and fried into square pieces with a golden surface. The product belongs to the category of Asian fish ball products and is widely used in Asian cuisine as an ingredient in soups, broths, steamed dishes, and wok dishes. The pieces have a soft and slightly elastic consistency inside, while the outside is lightly crispy after preparation. Fish tofu can be prepared in several ways: in a microwave at 750W for approximately 2 minutes under a lid, boiled in broth or soup for 3 to 5 minutes, steamed in a steamer for approximately 3 minutes, or deep-fried in oil heated to 165-170°C for 1 to 2 minutes. The product is suitable for Asian noodle soups, hotpot, Thai soup, and other hot dishes where a mild and slightly salty fish taste is desired. The net weight is 500 g, and the package should be stored at -18°C or colder. The product must not be refrozen after thawing.
