      Carving Knife - 20 cm Blade - 67 Layer Damascus VG-10 Steel - Wooden Handle

      This carving knife, also known as a slicing knife, has a 20 cm long and narrow blade made of 67 layers of Damascus VG-10 steel. The blade is characterized by its distinctive water-like Damascus pattern and is designed to glide precisely through meat without tearing it apart. The knife is particularly suitable for carving cooked meats such as roast pork, beef roast, leg of lamb, turkey, and ham into thin, uniform slices. It can also be used for precision cuts in poultry and fish, as well as for slicing large vegetables like carrots and cabbage. The handle is made of wood with visible rivets, providing a secure and comfortable grip. The knife comes in a presentation gift box with a red interior lining. The knife should be hand-washed immediately after use and thoroughly dried. Dishwasher use is not recommended. It is advisable to use a honing steel regularly to maintain the blade's sharpness.
