      This Japanese cleaver knife, also known as a Japanese chopper, is a broad-bladed kitchen utensil with a tall, flat stainless steel blade. The blade is characterized by a decorative hammered pattern at the top, which gives the knife a distinctive appearance. The handle is made of wood with a warm reddish-brown color and is secured with visible rivets. The knife is designed for cutting, chopping, and portioning meat and vegetables, including hard vegetables. The wide blade surface is practical for gathering chopped ingredients from the cutting board. The knife has a finer and harder edge than a traditional meat cleaver and is not intended for chopping bones or cartilage, as this can damage the thin blade.
